Welcome to an events and meetups group created by, and made for, the queer community!
Are you tired of those boring support groups with strangers and bad coffee? Do you find the local bar scene a difficult place to meet new people? Maybe you just really need to get out of the house, but avoid it due to the risk of discrimination or the struggle of social anxiety?
You came to the right place!
Since our first camp in May of 2022, we have hosted events from oceanside campouts to long weekends in forested parks. This year is gearing up to be our biggest so far, with plans for activities including haunted house tours, escape rooms, bar crawls, and so much more!

Our Mission
We will not allow large corporations to control any aspect of our business.
We will not allow vendors to sell food, drinks, or merchandise. Solicitation will never be a part of our events.
Sponsors will be given access to network, but only if approached by attendees.
You will not be asked to spend money at our events, all fees and ticket costs will be transparent. You will know what is included and what you should bring, no matter what we plan!
Every event will have a limited supply of sponsored tickets for those in our community that would otherwise not be able to attend. Not all who ask will get them, and HQCE directors will have full discretion to dispense these when requested.
HQCE is a progressive, inclusive, and accommodating organization. Directors will always consist of queer people, and while our events will not exclude or verify identities, the fact that this is for LGBTQIA+ people will be obvious and openly stated.
We will ensure accommodations and accessibility in our planning whenever possible, and will remain transparent in communicating participation requirements.

In order to provide opportunities for our community, we welcome you to donate on behalf of yourself or your business! Sponsors will be granted event access, networking and marketing opportunities, and select advertising as a thank you for all that you do.
Many in our community struggle with employment and healthcare discrimination, and this may prevent you from purchasing tickets to our events. If you are interested in receiving a sponsored tickets, please fill out the application below.
